Thermafil Plus obturators bring consistency, control, and confidence to root canal preparations. Case after case, they provide dense, three-dimensional fills that include lateral and accessory canals.

The difference starts with their flexible design featuring a solid plastic core surrounded by "alpha phase" gutta-percha. A single insertion fills the entire canal, while a vertical groove along the obturator’s core allow excess gutta-percha to backflow coronally. In addition, the groove provides space for easy retrieval should retreatment be necessary.

Simply heat the obturator and insert. The plastic carrier handle is easily trimmed away after the procedure is complete. No guns or unwieldy application methods are needed. The shape and fit of the plastic carrier deliver and compact the "alpha phase" gutta-percha automatically.
